Dr. Liangbiao Zheng is the Scientific Review Officer for the Vector Biology Study Section in the Infectious Diseases and Microbiology Integrated Review Group. He received a Ph. D. in biology from Harvard University in 1990. His postdoctoral training at Harvard focused on molecular genetics of mosquitoes. He continued his research in vector biology with special emphases on host-pathogen interactions and innate immunity as a staff scientist in the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. Prior to NIH, he was a faculty member in epidemiology and public health at Yale University School of Medicine for 10 years. He has authored or co-authored more than 50 articles and book chapters.
