Mr. Kevin Laser is the deputy executive officer for CSR, overseeing the Committee Management Branch and the DMS management analysts. He also serves as project officer for the Emergint contract, and works closely with the executive officer on CSR initiatives and planning. In his other capacity at CSR, Mr. Laser is the chief of the Financial Management Branch (FMB), where he is responsible for developing, preparing, and executing all operating budget material throughout the budget cycle for the Center. As FMB chief, he is the principal advisor on all financial matters. Before assuming his various roles at CSR, he was the budget officer for the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), the National Institute on Aging (NIA), and was involved in the development of the NIH AIDS budget while he worked at NIH’s central budget office. He holds a master's in public administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA, and a bachelor’s degree from Longwood University in Farmville, VA.
