Dr. Jin Huang is the Scientific Review Officer for CSR’s SBIR/STTR, Non-HIV, Microbial Vaccine Development Study Section. He is also responsible for nonrecurring special emphasis panel reviews in the Immunology Integrated Review Group. Dr. Huang came to the position from Merck & Co., Inc., where he was a senior scientist and manager in vaccine technology and engineering and engaged in thrombosis research, vaccine product and process development, and technical support for biomanufacturing. Dr. Huang earned his Ph.D. in molecular genetics and biochemistry from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, where he studied molecular mechanisms of antigenic variation and RNA trans-splicing in trypanosome.
