As CSR's Director of Communications, Don Luckett (1) advises the CSR Director and Deputy Director on communications issues, (2) develops communications plans and policies, (3) coordinates outreach activities, (4) oversees the production of CSR publications, (5) manages responses to media requests, (6) clears staff publications and presentations, and (7) oversees the development and management of CSR's Web sites. He came to CSR after 10 years as a program analyst in the NIH Office of AIDS Research, where he edited and wrote a variety of documents and helped coordinate planning/evaluation activities. He has served as a reviewer for the National Library of Medicine, reviewing contract proposals for the dissemination of information to HIV patients, those at risk of infection, and caregivers. Luckett holds a B.A. in psychology from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. More recently, he attended the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference at Middlebury College, Vermont, and the Sewanee Writers' Conference at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.
