Dr. Anshumali Chaudhari joined NIH in 1995 and currently serves as Scientific Review Officer(SRO) of the Vascular Cell and Molecular Biology Study Section at CSR. He also serves as a member of the SRO Handbook Committee and has previously served on the SRO Council and CSR Seminar Committee. Prior to joining CSR, he was chief of the biochemistry section at the U.S. Army Dental Research Detachment, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Washington, D.C., where his research was supported by the U.S. Army and involved developing synthetic bone regenerating materials for soldiers who suffered combat-related skeletal injuries. Before joining the Federal Government, he was associate adjunct professor of medicine, University of California, Irvine-Long Beach Medical Program. His research interests there included examination of hormonal regulation of kidney function in health and disease. After receiving his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry, Dr. Chaudhari had his postdoctoral training as a Visiting Fellow at National Institues of Environmental Health Sciences. |
