Dr. John Burch is the Scientific Review Officer for the Cellular Mechanisms in Aging and Development Study Section. Dr. Burch received his Ph.D. in biochemistry at UCLA and did his postdoctoral fellowship in genetics at the Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. He was a faculty member in cellular and developmental biology at the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia for 24 years. His research focused on gene expression and heart development. He moved to NIH in 2009. |
