Dr. Denise Beusen received her Ph.D. in molecular biology and biochemistry from Washington University in St. Louis. Her research there focused on elucidating the mechanism of the P450 enzyme responsible for estrogen biosynthesis. Subsequently, she did postdoctoral training at Monsanto Corporate Research in multidimensional nuclear magnetic resonance. She then served as an assistant professor at Washington University’s Institute for Biomedical Computing where she developed methods for computing molecular structures from solution NMR data. Her next affiliation was with Tripos, Inc., where her roles included customer support Manager, discovery software marketing manager, and director of technical marketing. Dr. Beusen later moved to MetaPhore Pharmaceuticals as chief operating officer before establishing her own consulting business. She joined CSR in 2007. |
