Dr. Edwin Clayton is the Scientific Review Officer for CSR’s Auditory System Study Section (AUD). He began his career at CSR by participating in CSR's Review Internship Program. Prior to joining CSR, he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Psychiatry Department at the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied the noradrenergic system and cognition. Dr. Clayton received his Ph.D. in psychobiology from the University of Virginia. His research there focused on brainstem systems that contribute to the formation of emotional memories.
